Climate Influencers

Calling all teen and young adult activists! Interested in climate action? Have a working knowledge of social media and content creation? Looking for a way to get volunteer hours without spending too much time? You’ve come to the right place! At Kids Fight Climate Change, we prioritize relationships with our volunteers to make sure we're all doing work we're excited about. We’re currently looking for a group of volunteers to be our Climate Influencers! This group of volunteers would be responsible for filming short videos (1 min max) on a weekly basis that include engaging information about climate change, in the style of TikToks or Instagram Reels that feature you, as our Climate Influencer. They'll be posted on our social media channels to raise awareness of climate issues. As you’ll be making these videos, it’s expected that you're comfortable showing your face in them. Time Commitment: 1 hour per week

What You'll Gain:

• Experience working in a real nonprofit organization

• Close relationships with organizational and climate leaders, as well as other climate influencers.

• Volunteer hours through our organization

What You'll Do:

• Design and film videos of yourself informing viewers about certain environmental topics, which you’ll get to choose from a provided list of appropriate topics.

• Work alongside the Leadership Council, Design Strategist, and the Chief Content Creator to perfect these videos in order to raise awareness for climate justice.

• Communicate and collaborate with other Climate Influencers to create strategies on what kind of information these videos will contain.
