Jamaica Bay East Pond Shoreline Cleanup

Join the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy, the National Park Service, and Sadhana for a shoreline cleanup at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge's East Pond valve. Gloves, bags, and tools will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring their own water and sunscreen. The cleanup will be canceled in the event of heavy rain or thunder/lightning in the forecast.

Please Note:

Volunteers will meet at the end of W Road, off of Cross Bay Blvd. If arriving by foot/bike please be prepared to walk/bike 7 minutes over the gravel trail from Cross Bay Blvd.

If arriving by car, please be prepared to drive slowly over the uneven trail and maneuver around dips at times, parking is available along the trail.

Please complete the volunteer waiver before the start of the cleanup.
