About the event

Join at a historical brownstone near Union Square for an evening of snacks and refreshments, meditation, and a meaningful conversation on climate and our feelings surrounding the upcoming election!

This is a monthly cafe hosted in partnership by Climate Cafe NYC and Penington Friends House. While the space is Quaker, the cafe is secular. We encourage deep reflection during our sessions, and welcome personal connections to spirit if you're someone who thinks in those terms.

Climate Cafe NYC is a climate action community that helps you face your climate anxiety, connects you to impactful local activism, and keeps you motivated through camaraderie, creativity, and fun. Through the connections we create, we aim to provide our members with a wide range of opportunities to find their place in the fight for a better future, whether through direct activism, policy advocacy, mutual aid, innovative solutions, or promoting sustainable practices within our spheres of influence.
