We want everyone to get the most out of this community, so we ask that you please read and follow these rules and guidelines.
Forum Rules
These rules outline the general Terms of the Climate Community forum. The Kids Fight Climate Change team reserves the right to terminate your account for violation of these Terms with or without notice.
1. Respect each other
All posts should be courteous. While everyone has the right to respectfully and professionally disagree, you are not permitted to attack, degrade, or otherwise insult fellow Community members. Also, do not snap or be rude to Community members — they are only trying to help!
2. Keep posts relevant to the forum topic
Please refrain from straying from climate change-related discussions and questions. This includes offensive material.
3. No spamming, advertising, or self-promoting
“Spam” in the context of the Climate Community is unsolicited advertisements on the part of Community members or unsolicited attempts at private contact. Spam — including advertisement of goods and services and other unrelated websites, as well as attempting to private message or obtain the contact information of other Community members — is strictly prohibited.
4. Refrain from violating copyright law
Do not post materials in violation of United States copyright law ( international users must additionally abide by their own nation's laws). Do not provide or ask for information on how to obtain illegally-sourced copyrighted materials.
General Guidelines
These guidelines help the Climate Community run smoothly. Individual posts can be closed by our Moderators for violation of these Guidelines.
1. Please use “Search” first
Always check to make sure that your discussion/question has not been started/asked already before starting a new post. This helps organize the forums and reduce confusion.
2. Do not double post/cross post
Don’t post multiple times in different categories, as it creates confusion. Please choose the best option as to where to post.
Please enjoy the Climate Community! We can't wait to see the discussion you start and the questions you ask.
